About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sprinkler Pipe Fitter Helper to join our company. As a Sprinkler Pipe Fitter Helper, you will work under the direction of experienced Sprinkler Pipe Fitters to assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems, including cutting, fitting, and installing pipes and fittings
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the system
Assist with the installation and connection of valves, alarms, and other components of the fire sprinkler system
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure that the project is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
Assist with testing and troubleshooting the system to ensure that it is functioning properly
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in construction or a related field preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
Willingness to learn and follow directions
Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and working at heights
Must posses a valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
